  Future City Competition serves students in 7th and 8th grade. Sponsored by National Engineers Week,

this national program introduces students to engineering with the popular Sim City software. Students design future cities with simulation software, build scale models, write essays and give oral presentations on their city's design.  See competition info for details.

  • 4-8-09    Schools Wanted!

Register for the 2009-2010 competition by e-mailing Don Wittmer at dwittmer@hntb.com or visiting the Future City national website registration page.  We are always looking for more schools to participate.  If you are in 7th or 8th grade, have a child in 7th or 8th grade or teach 7th and 8th graders, please contact us.  Home Schools are also encouraged to participate.  The registration deadline for the competition is at the end of October.  See the following posting in the Press Release section for more information
